The landscape of Greece has always inspired the Western mind. The blue seas, the white islands, the hidden forests, the soaring peaks, the dazzling beaches -- all are the stuff of legend. We are looking for a team of courageous adventurers to join us as we explore one of Greece's most dramatic landscapes: the volcanic island of Santorini. Destroyed by fire and ash sometime in the second millennium, this jewel of the Aegean now boasts some of the most diverse and beautiful topography, archeology, and history in the world. Our mission is to engage the language, poetry, culture, and landscape of this island; to understand the cultural and physical changes that have taken place on it since the Bronze Age; and – most importantly -- to allow the spirit of the place to touch and enter our souls. Whether it be via creative writing, religion, or digital photography, the island has boundless gifts to offer the hungry mind and spirit. Join us for Concordia’s Summer School in Santorini.
